Selling your Caravan or Camper Trailer, you will need a Caravan Roadworthy and a Caravan Gas Certificate or bringing it into us and we will take it as is.

If you are selling your Queensland registered Caravan it is the sellers obligation to obtain a Caravan safety certificate and a Caravan gas certificate upon the point of sale. It doesn’t matter who pays for these safety certificates as long as it is passed and valid at the point of sale. At the point of sale where the purchaser tows the Caravan away, the purchaser then has 14 days to take the certificates in with a paper copy of a vehicle transfer document into the transport department to lodge the transfer. A caravan registration transfer must be done on a paper form F3520 noting it cannot be done online, It must be done on paper.

A Caravan safety certificate is valid for two months

A caravan Gas certificate is valid for three months
